The premiere of the third season of The Mandalorian begins with Din Djarin (Mando) saving the lives of dozens of Mandalorians. After helping them defeat an amphibian creature, Din asks the Armorer how he can be forgiven for breaking the laws of Mandaloria. Din is told that the only way to salvation is to bathe in the living waters. The problem is that Mandalore is poisoned. However, the Armorer agrees that proving Mandalore is not poisoned will forgive Din. Thus began the journey of Din’s salvation.
At the end of the episode, Din and Grogu ask to join Bo-Katan Kryze to take over Mandalore. Unfortunately there is nothing to participate. Bo-Katan tells Din that her forces “melted away” after she failed to return with the Darksaber. On top of that, the stolen fleet moves through the galaxy as mercenaries. Luckily there is hope. Bo-Katan tells Din that since he still has the Darksaber, the stolen fleet will listen to him.
Of course it won’t be easy. Din made enemies of Gorian Shard and his pirate fleet in the first episode. He must also hope that the rest of the Mandalorians will follow him. Just because Bo-Katan says they will, doesn’t make it true. Besides, who says Bo-Katan doesn’t field Din? He ruined their mission. To make matters worse, these are by no means Din’s only threats.
