Indiana Pacers ML (+128)

New York Knicks -3 point spread (-112)

Denver Nuggets ML (+106)

Betting odds: +789

Indiana Pacers ML (+128)

The Indiana Pacers need to get wins as soon as possible or they won’t make it into the postseason. From the first few months of the season in the premier league in the East to finishing 12th, these Pacers have had a roller coaster ride of a year so far. All is not lost though, despite being 3 games behind the 10th seeded Wizards. I saw some encouraging signs in the OT loss to Boston two days ago, Myles Turner dropping a career-high 40 points while Tyrese Haliburton had 22 and 14 assists.

Away form has been a problem this season but they are playing against an Orlando side they have beaten seven times in the last 10 meetings, including twice earlier this season. Playing Indiana at home has been problematic for the Magic, who have only beaten them 3 times in their last 15 games. We don’t see Orlando in the favorites list often this season, but when that happens, they’re only 3-5 SU in their last 8 and have only covered the span twice in their last 12 such games. The Pacers have more talent on paper so I can see them pulling off the excitement here.

New York Knicks -3 point spread (-112)

Don’t look now, but the Knicks are starting to heat up. They are on a 4-game winning streak after last night’s win in Washington and have now won 6 of 7 games. Julius Randle put in another performance to last, scoring 46 points while 4 other Knicks scored in double digits. Center Mitchell Robinson eventually returned from injury, giving a big boost to the central defense and keeping the Wizards down to just 109 points that night. Tonight’s opponents the Pelicans were hit hard by injury sickness, Zion Williamson is still out with a hamstring injury while the duo of Ingram and McCollum have not been as consistent due to their batting. New Orleans has only 1 win in 9 road games, they are only 4-13 SU in their last 17 overall and 1-8 SU in 9 games against Eastern Conference teams. New York are also ahead in head-to-head, having won 4 of the last 6 and as they don’t have any serious injury problems at the moment I can definitely see them improving on that record here. Support the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Denver Nuggets ML (+106)

The Denver Nuggets’ recipe for success is simple – when Nikola Jokic plays well, this team is unbeatable. Do not believe me? The Serbian big man has recorded 22 triple-doubles this season and his team has an amazing 22-0 SU in those games. He’s recorded a triple-double twice in the last 3 encounters with the Grizzlies so I’d say there’s a really good chance of that happening tonight. The Nuggets seemingly walked away with the best record in the west, they are 6 games ahead of the Grizz and are currently on a 4 game winning streak. They play against a very inconsistent Memphis team that has only gone 4-10 SU in the last 14 games while only covering the spread twice in the last 8 games. Denver has surpassed them in their last 10 games, averaging 4 points per game. Even if Memphis have been strong at home this season, they’ll have a hard time beating the in-form Nuggets here. Aaron Gordon could miss today’s game but that shouldn’t be a problem as his team is 7-4 SU without him.
