The Los Angeles Dodgers begin their spring training games against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, February 25 at 12:10 pm PST. Baseball is here and won’t be gone until October. Get on the saddle and let’s go!

Admittedly, in previous offseasons/preseasons, Dodgers fans didn’t have to pay as much attention to what the roster would look like going into opening day. This team, overseen by Andrew Friedman, has typically fielded top names in the game accompanied by some of the brightest young prospects.

So much remains similar through 2023, but on a different scale. There is a clear changing of the guard here. Over the past few offseasons, the Dodgers have watched Joc Pederson, Kiké Hernandez, Corey Seager, Kenley Jansen, Justin Turner and Cody Bellinger leave in one way or another.

It’s now up to Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman to quickly assume the all-important leadership role while also adapting to a massive shift in team chemistry. It’s also up to young players like Miguel Vargas, James Outman, Ryan Pepiot and others to make their mark and quickly carve out roles for 2023 and beyond.

That’s why it’s important for fans to get in the mood for spring training this year. Opening day on March 30th will see competitions up and down the roster as well as various high profile position battles that will require attention if you want to keep up.

Ever was The simply? All 30 Dodgers spring training games will be broadcast on SportsNet LA, so start your cable subscription! (The only action fans will miss the street split-squad games, where SNLA will only broadcast home competitions.) The Dodgers also announced that 19 of the games will be broadcast on AM 570 LA Sports and an additional eight on KTNQ 1020 AM (Spanish radio station).
