Each season in the NBA paves the way for new and surprising talent to prove their dominance on the hardwood. Few players play for the same franchise their entire career. The remainder are traded to various franchises based on each team’s roster requirements. In interviews, players usually praise their former franchises, but in contrast, a Los Angeles Clippers star went all out for his former team in a recent interview. After the interview, NBA fans gushed over their differing opinions on the star’s comment.
The Clippers’ John Wall has enjoyed a successful 11-season career, averaging 18.7 points in 647 games. He played his rookie year for the Washington Wizards in 2010. He played nine seasons for the Wizards until joining the Houston Rockets in 2020 before joining his current team in 2022. This season with the Clippers, Wall has underperformed, averaging 11.4 points in 34 games. Additionally, he caught the attention of NBA fans following his strong statement against his former team.

Furthermore, NBA fans flooded the comments section with mixed opinions of the video clip. While a certain segment of fans took Wall’s claim lightly, some fans were upset by the claims. One user said: ” That’s not true now. John Wall cold for it, made me cry. Stephen Silas knew what he was doing to get you started.”

When the intentional loss of games called into question the integrity of the players, fans were furious with Wall’s claims. Another user said: “Forget Patton’s stray, if a player admits losing on purpose, that’s a problem.”

Forget the Patton shaker, if a player admits losing on purpose, that’s a problem. You shouldn’t say the quiet part out loud, whether it’s team or management throwing games. The NBA won’t like that.

Notably, this isn’t the first time John Wall has made harsh demands against his former team. He had previously sent a powerful message to the sorcerers after his trade.
