A former footballer whose diet photos have shocked online viewers has announced he is running in the 2024 presidential election in hopes of educating people to make healthier choices.

Zack Strength, who had planned to turn NFL pro before an injury forced him out of the game after a promising career at the University of Southern California, is now making a name for himself by sharing his intense training and diet with the thick steaks and mounds of eggs.

He said news week that he wants to help people make “healthier choices” and “reduce and stop consuming harmful substances like alcohol, unnecessary prescriptions and chemicals in food”.

The New York City resident is the treasurer of the Prohibition Party, the nation’s oldest existing third party. Strength, who works in finance and technology when he’s not in the gym, said he plans to “focus on helping America become a healthier country through better education and encouragement about nutrition, fitness and health Subjects”.

Speaking about his policy, Strength said he wanted to provide “better education about the benefits of whole, natural foods and the harms of highly processed and refined foods.”

He also said he’s in favor of “educating people about the benefits of exercise, like strength training, cardio, just being more active throughout the day.”

While a healthy lifestyle is high on his agenda, news week asked Starke about his positions on other areas important to voters, namely the environment, the economy and foreign policy.

Of the former he said: “I previously wrote an article for the National Prohibitionist [newsletter] on promoting regenerative agriculture, which has several positive impacts on the environment, including improving the country’s biodiversity, eliminating chemical pollution from fertilizer and pesticide runoff, using less fuel and plastics as food needs to be distributed locally .”

Speaking of foreign policy, Strength said, “I have a very hard anti-war stance. I am tired of seeing violence all over the world and tired of seeing people being sent to the front lines risking their lives to serve the interests of politicians.

“I believe in diplomacy and building relationships with our allies, and I make massive efforts to improve relations with our adversaries,” he said.

Starke attacked President Joe Biden’s handling of the economy, saying, “The administration has an overspending problem that needs to be addressed. The budget and spending must be reviewed to eliminate unnecessary spending, which will also reduce the national debt, as well as provide funds for redeployment to items that are less financially burdensome to Americans.

He continued, “This includes government-subsidized economic development projects based on the constitutional principle of ‘promoting the common good,’ rather than propositions that primarily benefit the wealthy and influential.”

Returning to its core message of promoting healthy eating, Strength said focusing on the cost of natural foods would be on its agenda.

“I also want to take initiatives to lower the cost of whole, natural foods, make it easier for small and family-run businesses to be profitable, incentivize local agriculture, eliminate predatory student loan lending and the problem To address that vacancies are high in several areas, but people are struggling with high housing costs,” he said.
