After a slow start by his own standards, Cristiano Ronaldo has started making strides in the Saudi Pro League.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winners scored all of Al Nassr’s goals in the 4-0 win over Al Wehda and followed that up with both assists in the 2-1 win over Al Taawoun last time out.

That means Ronaldo has scored five goals in four Pro League games so far, with Rudi Garcia’s side hoping to top the table when they travel to Damac on Saturday.

Leaders Al Ittihad drew 0-0 at home to Al Raed on Thursday, giving them a slender one-point lead over second-placed Al Nassr at the summit after playing a game more.
