Before another college football season, Bruce Feldman will be from the athlete compiled his list of the top coaches in all of esports.

Some household names grace the top spots, but the top ten is also filled with rising stars. The landscape of college football changed dramatically with the advent of ZERO and the NCAA transfer portalbut these leaders remain the best of the best.

In Feldman’s view, the following players deserve the greatest recognition as top coaches in all of college football.

Top 10 CFB Coaches, per the athlete:

10) Lance Leipold, Kansas Jayhawks

Perhaps no coach did more for himself in the past year than Leipold. While he was a hot name for other jobs, he chose to stay in Kansas and should make the Jayhawks competitive as long as he stays in the program.

9) Kyle Whittingham, Utah-Utes

Feldman, one of the most underrated coaches in all of sport, agrees with Whittingham. Back-to-back losses in the Rose Bowl hurt, but Whittingham has Utah as the most consistent program in the entire West.

8th) Brian Kelly, LSU Tiger

There’s no better way to file with the SEC than to hit Alabama, and that’s exactly what Kelly did in 2022. His tenure got off to a rocky start, but throughout the season he kept reminding the world why he’s one of the best. The future at Baton Rouge is bright.

7) Lincoln Riley, USC Trojan

Norman’s move to Los Angeles might have been a culture shock, but Riley just kept winning. He has USC with its best shot at a title since the early 2000s, with the reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams Return to the program.

6) Ryan Day, Ohio State Buckeyes

Once Ryan Day finally climbs the mountain and captures a national title, he’ll be mentioned as one of the best. Still, his Ohio State teams are always a force to be reckoned with, especially on offense, even if they haven’t beaten Michigan in the last two seasons.

5) James Franklin, Nittany Lions of Penn State

2023 could be the season when Franklin takes the next step for both himself and Penn State. Regardless, Feldman blames him and ranks him in the top 5 best in the sport.

4) Jim Harbaugh, Michigan Wolverines

As the NFL continues to beckon, Harbaugh continues to win Big Ten titles. Michigan was reborn under the prodigal son, and he’s more committed than ever to bringing a championship to Ann Arbor.

3) Dabo Swinney, Clemson Tigers

It’s been a rough couple of seasons for Swinney, but that’s only because he’s set the bar so high with his past successes. A loss in the Orange Bowl was a lesson for the young quarterback Cade Klubnikone that could bring the Tigers back to the college football playoffs in 2023.

2) Kirby Smart, Georgia Bulldogs

The apprentice is hot on the heels of his master, but Smart remains in the silver medal position, according to the statement the athlete. Nonetheless, what he accomplished in Athens is remarkable and he deserves all the credit he gets for making the Bulldogs the class of the sport.

1) Nick Saban, Alabama Crimson Tide

There is only one. The legendary Saban has met a roadblock at Smart’s Bulldogs and other SEC contenders over the past few seasons, but you can never count his Crimson Tide out. He will likely retain the top spot until an unthinkable collapse occurs, or until then, the more likely scenario of retirement.
