The Los Angeles Clippers faced the Sacramento Kings in one of the most exciting encounters of the last season. The Kings showed incredible heart and determination to win the game 176-175. Russell Westbrook made his much-anticipated debut for the Clippers, but his special night was ruined. Kings’ De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk were interviewed and Fox went all out. When Fox was asked for her thoughts on the game as a whole, he broke all filters and offered his honest thoughts on Westbrook. With a fun game and equally fun press conference, NBA fans got excited on Twitter.

Former MVP Russell Westbrook almost got his team across the finish line on his debut. After a chaotic end to his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers, he played for the first time as a clipper. He was a constant target for the media and fans, while a Laker and all the hate once forced his wife to step in.

An ESPN report called him a “vampire,” and this was slammed by Nina Earl, Russ’ wife, and the NBA world. He eventually left the team and, following a takeover agreement with the Utah Jazz, joined their rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers.

Westbrook didn’t have the ideal debut. Though brilliant individually, the Kings’ performance overshadowed his debut. Also De’Aaron Fox’s Post-game comments are sure to annoy the former MVP even more.
